Teddy Bear Game
Goals:
will have nothing to do with any actual teddy bears for the most part
fun, silly
side scrolling 2d platform game involving basic object interaction and puzzle solving with little or no plot
Settings:
Dirty streetcorner - night time, basically nothing for the player to fear here.
Various rooms in a science labaratory - full of traps and small puzzles our protagonist is at his wit's end with nothing to rely on but his wits.
The little or no plot:
1. our protagonist finds himself and his dog in an alley with a hankering for some booze. After utilizing and familiarizing the player with the controls and basic interaction of the game, he collapses into a drunken coma.
2. our protagonist wakes in a science lab where he has been stolen to off the street and finds himself again without alchohol and worse, without his beloved mutt pal.
3. our protagonist finds a way to manipulate his mass and density to work his way through puzzles in order to get back to his dog.
Interface:
death or level failure will bring the character back to the last checkpoint or the beginning of the level.
a help menu will be available for those idiots who can't keep track of the six keys in charge of movement and interaction
Other characters:
a scientist or two who will be impeding the path of the player in some way.
Objects:
mostly impedious objects that the character must manipulate himself around but some tools, power up items and random bottles of booze for more health.
